LET Reviewer: Tips how to Pass the LET
Good morning future LPTs! A few days from now you will take the exam that could change the course of your future so here are some tips:
1. The most important thing to do BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER THE EXAM is to PRAY! PRAY! PRAY! Let GOD guide you all the way. He will never let you down. Trust me. I’m a living witness of HIS power.
2. READ. READ. READ. I don’t think I could emphasize that more. Reading could really make a difference. Read anything and everything and always read with comprehension. It will give you an idea or two about differeng topics. Have a dictionary next to you. It would help widen your vocabulary.
3. Relax before you review. Calm your mind and don’t stress out. It will help you focus once you start reviewing.
4. Find at least 1 to 2 hours a day to review. Answer the review questions and don’t panic if you get low scores at first. Review the questions that you got wrong answers and try answering again after a few days.
5. After reviewing for months and months and months, IT’S TIME TO REST AND RELAX. This will give your mind some time to calm down before the BIG DAY.
6. ON EXAM DAY…Listen to the proctor. Instructions are given before the exam. Make sure you will follow everything.
7. Trust me, there is no such thing as being ready when it comes to the actual exams. There will always be questions that you did not encounter during your review. The important thing is DO NOT PANIC. Panicking causes mental block.
8. USE YOUR TIME WISELY. Scan all the questions first. This will give you some idea of what’s ahead.
9. Answer all the questions that you know first. This will give you more time to answer the difficult ones.
10. Don’t dwell on difficult questions for too long. If you’re not sure yet, leave it and then go back to it later on. JUST DON’T FORGET TO GO BACK TO IT.
11. Practice the process of elimination.
12. You will be given break times in between the exams. Use this time to relax once again and calm your nerves a little. I did not open my reviewers during break times since I have the tendency to get nervous but you may review during your break if you think it would help.
13. After the exam, PRAY once again and thank GOD that you survived the big day. You’ve done your part, let GOD do the rest.
14. There are three important words that you need to remember after the exam: POSITIVITY, HOPE, and FAITH. Never ever lose any of those three. They will always attract positive results.
These are just some of the tips that helped me pass the exam in one take. I’m sure there are lots of other tips that my fellow passers can also give you. GOOD LUCK, FUTURE LPTs!!!
